About our space
If you're new to the studio and want to feel more at ease before joining a class, this part of the website is just for you.
You can sign up for classes here, even if you haven't bought a membership or class pass yet. We handle that in the studio. Each class should include a description and specify the recommended experience level.
Arrive at 572 St. Clair Pkwy about 10 minutes early. Please keep the front parking spaces open for quick visits to the nearby businesses and for students with mobility issues. We will ask that new students please complete a waiver in-studio. You can purchase a membership, class pass, or a drop-in class at the studio when you arrive.
Upon entering the studio, you’ll find a bench and a coat rack to your right, and mats to keep your shoes. There is a desk there for purchases if you are in need of a membership or class passes. To the left upon entering, you’ll see shelving featuring items from some of our favourite Canadian companies, items made by us, and plants for sale. Unlimited members receive a 10% discount on retail purchases.
At the back of the studio, there are two doorways behind curtains that can be opened or closed. The left doorway leads to the washroom, and the right leads to the prop room. Unless instructed by the teacher, please take two blocks, a strap, a bolster, an eye pillow, and a blanket. We have three studio mats available to borrow, but bringing your own is encouraged. There are also a selection of teas, a kettle, and a Santevia water filtration system in this area.
The teacher will direct students on where to place their mats based on the class plan.
It is our most sincere hope that you feel not only welcome here, but also that you can relax, and just be yourself, that you can be comfortable. If you have any questions after reading through this all, please message Katie, Kim, or Shannon at info@mandakaniyoga.com or contact us on social media.
