Heather Hagan

Heather is a foundational Yoga Teacher (RYT 200) & certified Yin Yoga instructor, currently working towards her Yin specialty  (RYT 500). Heather has been practicing yoga on a regular basis since her first year of University, where she was introduced to the Ashtanga style of asana as a way to keep her disciplined and centered. Following that she set off to explore the world and that’s where her true yoga journey began. Heather has had the privilege of living in various places and studying with some incredible teachers. Fast forward many years later, she came back to her hometown to raise her family and was blessed to connect with the local yoga community and the beauties at Mandakani. While Heather still does Ashtanga and various movement styles, she now depends greatly on the other limbs of yoga to enhance her practice as she balances the challenges of being a working Mom with busy kids. Heather is looking forward to sharing time on our mats together!

She is currently working on certifications in Somatic Yoga, Yoga Nidra, and prenatal and postpartum Yoga.
Shannon offers appointments for private yoga lessons and energy work. In her spare time, she loves camping and hiking, spending time with family and friends, creative outlets, and most importantly - snuggling under soft blankets and reading with a great cup of tea.
